Child care providers play a key role in a child's health

Good nutrition and daily physical activity can improve children’s behavior, academics, sleep patterns and overall health. Childcare Alive! (formerly GoFar Child Care ) works with child care providers to increase children’s health by establishing healthy practices in child care programs in Cass county (ND) and Clay, Becker, Otter Tail and Wilkin (MN) counties. Providers who participate in Childcare Alive! will learn fun, creative, and practical ways to help children and families lead a healthy lifestyle!
This initiative supports Let’s Move! Child Care , a national call-to action that promotes healthy eatting, physical activity and positive lifetime health changes in children.
