
ND CCR&R seeks experienced child care professionals to mentor
newly licensed child care providers and center directors.
Mentors have the opportunity to influence and support new child care providers as they launch their child care business and begin their work with children. Mentors commit to a minimum of ten hours over three to six months.
As a mentor you will:
- Help new providers/peers identify their strengths/challenges
- Work to build a positive relationship with peers
- Help peers integrate what they’ll learn through EasyReach
trainings into their child care setting - Provide guidance and exchange ideas with peers via phone, email and on-site visits
- Assist peers in developing a professional development plan
- Work in partnership with CCR&R to assist peers and provide summary reports of progress
