Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Prevention Training
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the leading cause of death among infants between one month and one year old. Each year, about 4,000 infants die unexpectedly during sleep time, from SIDS, accidental suffocation and unknown causes. Come learn about the steps you can take to support and promote safe sleep and reduce the risks of SIDS for children in your care.
Addison's Law, requiring annual SIDS training for all child care providers, passed during the 2015 session of the North Dakota Legislature thanks to the efforts of Addison's mother, Tammy, and other supporters.
