Creative sound exploration can become an effective way to strengthen critical listening skills, concentration, and self-regulation with young children. Engage in sound games and experiment with playful creations in sound science designed to motivate little ears to open up, listen, and learn. Practice habits of mind through the discovery process, language and literacy skills, and identify the shared common vocabulary of music, math and science.

This workshop will help participants develop their listening/focus skills and learn ways to incorporate sound exploration in their child care setting.

This course fulfills training requirements in the following:
• ND Core Competency Area II:
• Learning Environment and Curriculum Level 1 a & b and Level 2 b & c.
nbsp &CDA Competency Goal II: To advance physical and intellectual competence

Participants earn 3 clock hours
CEU’s are also available for an additional fee.
This training is Growing Futures Approved.
Certificates will not be issued to participants who arrive late or leave early.
