Learn why you should make play a priority
The best way to prove that playing is learning is to let children just... PLAY! Our presenter, Denita Dinger will share her journey of discovery and passion for positive, play-centered learning environments. During this lively and humorous workshop she demonstrates play IS “the important stuff”. Participants will go home with practical ideas to help children develop confidence, self control, ask for what they need, lead and listen.

Workshop participants will:

  • Learn the importance of play in the daily lives of children
  • Discover ways to enhance problem solving, cooperation and compromising skills, develop imagination and special awareness
  • Learn creative ways to foster literacy skills.
  • Investigate techniques to encourage children to try new ideas, explore freely, collaborate and handle conflicts

Participants earn 5 clock hours. CEU’s are also available for an additional fee.
This training is Growing Futures approved.
Certificates will not be issued to participants who arrive late or leave early.
