LICENSED CHILD CARE IN NORTH DAKOTA
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
North Dakota has laws governing early childhood services to safeguard children’s health, safety and development.
A provider must be licensed if caring for more than 3 infants (0-2 years) or 5 children (0-12 years). Providers
must count
their own children who are under 12 years of age. Your county licenser determines the maximum
number of children you can care for.
QUALIFICATIONS
The type of program you are eligible to operate is determined by your educational background and training.
